Between The Two of Us - the festival

In Tangier, the city “between two worlds,” a gathering to write a new story at the poetic intersection of different realities.

Over four days of immersion, inspiration, and idea exchange, more than 65 speakers and performers joined 600 business leaders, scientists, artists, policymakers, activists, and educators from around the world.

What it was

Production of a 4-day festival in the city of Tangier, Morocco, in a historic and emblematic venue fully redesigned to host the event. From creating more than six stages for talks, workshops, and activities to activating local venues and suppliers across the city for breakout sessions and group experiences, Melpe was in charge of the event’s full production and logistics.

  • Identification and coordination of all spaces and suppliers involved in the project (restaurants, venues, AV, branding, signage, cleaning, decor, etc.)
  • Coordination of 60 volunteers from around the world who supported the event delivery (including onsite staff management, accommodation, shift planning, and task allocation)
  • Planning and supervision of upgrades at the main venue: bathroom refurbishment, full repainting of the space, installation of custom signage, creation of stages and accessible routes, and construction of kitchens, pantry, and dining areas (initially non-existent)
  • Management of the check-in process, from airport arrival to the event site
  • Coordination of security for speakers and guests in collaboration with local authorities
  • Overall coordination of all teams involved in the execution of the event
